This was taken right outside my office, and if it wasn't for the crane and street lights in the picture, you might think it was a tropical paradise. It's not. It's smack dab in the middle of the ghetto.

I didn't see any extra-terrestrial activity at Devils Tower, but I did get this photo which I think is kind of cool. (I should've posted this a few days ago for the 4th of July, but it's still the season, right?)

I dare say this is a perspective of Mt. Rushmore that you've never seen before. Well, unless you've been there too that is.

It's good to have a zoom lens when you encounter a threatened species such as this Desert Tortoise. It was the first one I'd seen in the wild in all my time in the desert. It's a pretty cool species, and I was happy to have finally encountered one.

I took this while driving home from Salt Lake City the last time I was there. I miss snow (although, this is probably more of a distance makes the heart grow fonder kind of thing - since I don't have to shovel walks, drive on icy roads, etc.).

I realized I haven't been posting on here enough. That's mainly because I haven't been taking a lot of pictures lately, but here's one from my trip to British Columbia. Obviously it could have been framed better, but it's still not bad for a photo taken while driving 50 km/h down a dirt road.

There's too much glare, and some reflections that shouldn't be in here, but all in all, I don't think it was too bad for my first attempt at photographing fish.

I can never get enough of seeing the rock formations of Utah. This was taken in Goblin Valley, just outside the main valley with all the hoodoos.

Oh the things you see on a casino's front lawn. This was taken somewhere on the south end of the Las Vegas strip.
