I can never get enough of seeing the rock formations of Utah. This was taken in Goblin Valley, just outside the main valley with all the hoodoos.

Oh the things you see on a casino's front lawn. This was taken somewhere on the south end of the Las Vegas strip.

This was also taken at the Red Canyon overlook. I think it might look better if I cropped it, but I really liked how clear the reflections were.

This is a tree growing at the Red Canyon overlook in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Silouettes against a bright background almost always look cool.

A slow day of fishing on the Green River. You can clearly see how it gets its name. If anyone wants to purchase a boat like this for me feel free to do so. I would love you forever.

Here's the late afternoon sun on a rare cloudy day in Las Vegas. I'm pleased with the way I kept the power lines and sound wall along the freeway out of this shot (almost).

Alright, so I'm double dipping with this one, but I don't care. It's the only half decent picture I've taken in a while so it's going up. It's the Colorado River a few miles below Hoover Dam.

I must have taken about 15 shots of this tree and fireplace, using all the different settings on my camera, but the one that came out best was the one I took simply using the automatic focus and the flash. Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.

This would probably look better if I just cropped it down to include only the clouds. I took this on the flight back to Vegas from Massachussetts.

Ok, so my camera was totally misbehaving at the wedding I went to last weekend, but I kind of like the way this one of the bride and groom dancing came out, even if it is a tiny bit out of focus.

Here's the last decent picture of fall colors for the year. I took it one handed while I was holding a big branch out of the way with my other hand. If I had more hands I could have held the branch hanging in the top left corner out as well, but alas I do not.

I actually don't like this picture, but my friend does. I figured I'd let you make the decision as to whether or not it sucks.

This is from one of the overlooks at Cedar Breaks National Monument.

So I basically just stole this idea from Psycho Intern, but it still looks cool, and I took this picture.

I really like pictures like this that show people walking along some kind of path. This was taken in Logan Canyon just minutes before my four year old threw his cousin's tennis ball down a steep incline and into the river.
